Appointment Information

Office hours
are 8:00 a.m. to 5: 00 pm, Monday through Friday, and 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday. To reach us at anytime, please call 615-833-6411. If you are calling for a well child visit or a routine medication refill, we ask that you call after 10:00am to keep the early morning phone lines open for sick patients. We make every effort to see sick children in a timely manner.

After-hours Emergencies
If your child has a life-threatening emergency, call 911. Phone calls for urgent after-hours concerns are handled by our doctors. The on-call physician is available after hours and holidays. Please do not use the after hours consultation for routine questions. Call the office during working hours for routine questions.

Well Child Visits
Please schedule well child visits well in advance. Well child visits are recommended beginning at age 2 weeks of age, then at 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, and 24 months. After age 2 visits are recommended yearly with a pre-kindergarten visit at age 4 or 5, which includes vision and hearing screening and immunization updates. Checkups are generally recommended every 1-2 years. Children and teens playIng sports require a yearly physical. You are responsible for bringing any forms or paperwork with you for completion. Please check with your insurance company for the schedule in which well visits are reimbursed.

Refills
For ADD/ADHD and routine medication refills, our medication refill polcy is to call the office after 10:00am and leave your patient name, date of birth and name of the medication. Calls recieved before 4 pm will be ready within 24 hrs. Calls recieved after 4 pm may take 2 working days.
